Yoga came in my life at the age of 11. Since childhood, I have been exploring Yoga through asanas, pranayama and meditation. My family has played a great role in inculcating values and the daily practice of mantra chants in my life.
I did my graduation from Delhi University in Economics. I started doing theatre. Hence, Yoga became a routine during my theatre rehearsals. I learnt various visualizations techniques and body movements for character-building. This helped me to connect with myself and find deeper ways of self-expression.
I started my professional training in Yoga in 2017 from Mokshayattan Yog Sansthan. In 2018, I completed a Certificate Course in Yogasana from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Delhi. In 2019, I went to Rishikesh to pursue a 200-hour Teacher Training Course in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga from World Peace Yoga School. I am a certified 250 hour Hatha Yoga teacher from IndeaYoga Mysore (under Bharath Shetty). These trainings helped me improve my practice, develop teaching skills and connect with the true essence of Yoga.
I began working as a freelancer in 2018. Took personal sessions for Sciatica, Migraine, Spinal disorders, Stress and lifestyle disorders. In 2020, I started taking independent workshops for women with lifestyle disorders in Delhi NCR, educating women about the path towards healing oneself through Yoga and the importance of Self Love. The workshops have a mix of practices from Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin and Kundalini Yoga. Currently I am conducting virtual workshops and programs for PCOS, Thyroid, Stress and Spine.
I aim to work towards empowering and educating women about the power of inner wisdom. I believe that the key to heal all disorders and ailments is to have emotional, mental, physical and spiritual balance. My perception of human body being a union of all the elements has always given my work a holistic approach. My mantra of good health is to have long term sustainable well being.
